What an honor, privilege, and joy it is to be named the new principal of Avalon Middle School where we will continue to lead our Knights to great heights!  Traveling the world as a military spouse, I have worked as a college counselor, athletic coach, teacher, instructional design coach, district peer evaluator, dean of students, and administrator. I hold certification in Elementary Education K-6, Business 6-12, Educational Leadership and School Principal (K-12) and have a M.Ed and a Masters in Human Resource Management.  Although my passion begins and ends with each student at our school, it certainly takes each of us, together, to bring out the best in each Knight that comes through AMS.  Above all else, as your child’s principal, it is my primary focus to continue the great successes at Avalon Middle School, one student at a time.  At Avalon Middle School we will continue to create new and innovative ways to bring out the best in your child in an environment where high expectations and a love for our students is paramount.
