Our 6th graders made us proud on the FSA ELA and Math assessments this week. We saw tremendous growth and some outstanding results. The bar has been set for 7th and 8th grade in the weeks to come.

• Due to testing schedule, Sims Middle School will celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week May 12-16.
• 8th Grade Dance is May 17 from 6-9 p.m. at Sims Middle School. Information is being sent home on Tuesday. This dance is for Sims Middle 8th graders only.
• 8th grade students who are not passing all classes for the year will be working in credit recovery in lieu of participating in Fun Day on May 23. Please check your child’s grades in Focus and encourage him/her to finish strong.
